Welcometo the website for St. Joseph Catholic Church in Yoakum, Texas. We are pleased you stopped by for a visit. We are part of a wonderful historic community in south Texas in which the first regular sacramental celebrations were held as early as 1850 in a log cabin. The parish was established in 1869 and has continued to grow and meet the needs of the local Catholic community. One of the traditional descriptions of St. Joseph is "Custos Iesu, Custos Noster--Protector of Jesus, Our Protector." Through the intercession and example of faithfulness we find in St. Joseph, our patron, may we continue to grow in our love and devotion to the Christ.

On this site you will find our weekly bulletins, mass schedule, special events, directions and other information pertaining to our parish. If you have questions that are not answered here, please contact us.
